Goods and Services Tax Reforms

This is a new form of implementing Goods and Services Tax, by which all the people who sell Goods and Services will pay GST, no matter if they are small businesses like a Barber Shop or a Stationary Shop, without fail. This is a simple system, that can be implemented without complex procedures or confusion. Immediate tax deductions can be done without waiting, and the merchants can get loans from banks based on their business performance. Merchant Bank Accounts I propose a simple Goods and Services Tax Regime by which there will be an enormous collection of Goods and Services Tax across all the sectors of the economy without fail. First, every business that is supposed to pay Goods and Services Tax should have a Merchant Bank Account. The Government taxes money deposited into this account at whatever percentage the Goods and Services Tax is, upon every deposit made by the consumer. All the money deposited into this account is taxable. It is not the total balance in the Merchant Bank Ac...

Educational Reforms Proposal

The overall proposal is to bring educational reforms as a centerpiece, where students find it fascinating to learn and Universities run by MNCs find it easy to search for talent, recruit them in their colleges, train them, and finally accommodate them in their workforce. This proposal is mainly designed for developing countries like India, where good teachers are hard to find as they are paid less as teachers. It is also applicable to developed countries since technology takes a central place in this proposal. Goals The goal of this proposal is to illuminate the readers on education methods applicable to 11th and 12th-grade students. We are concentrating on 11th and 12th grade because that is where students start to learn independently. It is also the right time for MNCs to screen students' talents. This draft is written in addition to Educational reforms written on this blog deepakkumarta.blogspot.com Universities run by Multinational Companies  I do believe that MNCs should be th...

Property Tax Reforms

I would like to share my idea regarding property tax reforms. There is a need for Property Tax Reforms in developing and under-developed countries, because without proper policies in place, people pay less tax, while buying and selling property, by showing low sale price for the property to avoid stamp duty. Purpose We will examine it with a general scenario. Suppose a person declares the price of a property to be INR 10 lakhs when he bought it. He would have paid the tax for that amount in the past. The declared property price may not be the real valuation. Fine, we can't go back in time to change that. But in the future, suppose he sells the property, we can make that person pay tax, correctly based on appreciation. Suppose, a person buys property for INR 10 lakhs in the past, he would have paid less tax. But when he sells for INR 60 lakhs now, with proper property tax with the correct higher value, it will automatically compensate for the tax not paid in the past. Bidding Whenev...
