The overall proposal is to bring educational reforms as a centerpiece, where students find it fascinating to learn and Universities run by MNCs find it easy to search for talent, recruit them in their colleges, train them, and finally accommodate them in their workforce. This proposal is mainly designed for developing countries like India, where good teachers are hard to find as they are paid less as teachers. It is also applicable to developed countries since technology takes a central place in this proposal.
Goals
The goal of this proposal is to illuminate the readers on education methods applicable to 11th and 12th-grade students. We are concentrating on 11th and 12th grade because that is where students start to learn independently. It is also the right time for MNCs to screen students' talents. This draft is written in addition to Educational reforms written on this blog deepakkumarta.blogspot.com
Universities run by Multinational Companies
I do believe that MNCs should be the ones that run Universities and colleges. We just need to find the right talent in the country which is worthy of the caliber of such organizations. Even in countries like India, the output from the conventional colleges is not up to the standard of employees, Indian MNCs need. They again have to retrain them. Still finding the right talent for organizations of such a huge scale is difficult, which affects the growth of MNCs in a big way. So, the overall plan is to find the best talent in the country and send them to MNC-run Universities, so that everyone flourishes.
Choice of Subjects
I will start with the choice of subjects. We should bring students to study the subjects which fascinate them. Some may be interested in life sciences, some in Technology, some in Architecture, and some even in fashion technology. Innovations happen out of curiosity. If you force them to study a subject, that doesn’t kindle their interests, it’s an effort put in the wrong direction, which is of no use to anyone.
We are planning to put forward at least 1000 subject topics to begin with, in all fields from conventional subjects like mathematics to non-conventional subjects like craft making and fashion designing. More subjects will be added every year. Organizations just need to tell them, what is the minimum number of topics they need to cover to be eligible to get admitted to their Universities and Colleges.
Student Conferences and Collaborative Learning
Learning is more fun if it is collaborative. If students can express their talent, it creates an interest in the subject, which motivates them to learn more and achieve more. Student conferences can be held whenever necessary through an important technological tool META. Metaverse will be discussed clearly in the next topic. Online conferences can be held in Metaverse, which brings all the stakeholders like students, researchers, and Recruiters, all under the same platform. Collaborative learning will help students discuss topics and clear their doubts, wherever necessary.
Metaverse, the Technology Behind the Educational Reform
Metaverse will be the technology behind this huge revolution in education. Augmented reality, Virtual reality and the 3-dimensional view take this revolution forward. In countries like India, high-quality education can only be provided through Metaverse. It even surpasses the teacher’s abilities in developed nations. Take this example. A student wants to learn about the human heart. Is there any way in the world that can clearly explain the human heart in all directions, its internal parts, and how it pumps blood?
Evaluating the students with Metaverse
The advantage of the Metaverse is, that you can ask non-textual questions to evaluate students, like showing the 3D view of real leaves and asking them to mark the parts. Students can design fashionable clothes, and get an insight into how fashion designers do their jobs. Students can even design clothes in the real world and upload them through Meta so that recruiters can actually see their talent and evaluate the student’s abilities. If students take examinations, Metaverse tools simply need to put a 360 camera on their gear, to make sure that no one is sitting with them. It’s a good practice to ask the students how they arrived at that solution so that Technology companies know what students thought while arriving at that solution. That eliminates the chances of forgery.
Subject Topics
At the end of every subject topic like Laplace Transforms in Mathematics or Basic C++ in Computer Science, guidance will be provided to the students like Employment choices the subject topic provides like If you study C++, you can study and work in Microsoft, Tata Consultancy Services and all the companies which give jobs in those topics. They can even provide Video Ads on those topics tailor-made for that topic to attract the students. Students simply need to click on the Company links to view those Video Ads. At the end of every subject, there will be the best books available online on that topic for further study.
Evaluation and Scores
Students will be evaluated on their skills. Students must understand what they study clearly without getting confused. Meta should provide lessons and notes which are easy and designed in a way that pulls student’s interests. Competition helps to bring the best students to the light. There will be assessment tests which will not be easy. Students' progress and scores will be shared with companies that run Universities and Colleges. Based on students’ scores, Companies can choose worthy students and can conduct their own online tests with the help of our software. Companies can also sponsor students' college fees, buy books online, and provide perks like Company visits and Internships.
Internship
Internship is the way, Organizations can evaluate students more closely and discover their true abilities. Students who are passionate about working on projects can take a 3-month break to do any projects they wish, at any time during their 2+ year time, as applicable to the Indian educational system.
Scores International Collaboration
India cannot do this massive project alone. Nor can any other developing country in the world. We need an International Collaboration to make progress in this work. Vidhya Soundararajan, Scholar and academician has expressed the importance of International collaboration in this project and expressed her willingness and commitment to make this project a success.
